A major element of IntelliCare business is the Service function that is responsible for providing the technical support and maintenance of installed systems. To facilitate this we provide a 24-hour 365 days per year ‘out-of hours’ engineering support rota that ensures a responsive service capable of exceeding contracted response times.

Intellicare can either provide a system based on existing specifications or we can work with Consultants and Architects from the design drawing stage to maximise the specification. Cost effective solutions are our speciality. We have experience in helping design systems from multiple occupancy Assisted Living accommodation to large care homes.
Intellicare has undertaken many major installations and upgrades. One of our first projects was the installation of the Nurse Call and Staff Attack system to the New Community Hospital in St Andrews. We have a dedicated internal division for installations and major projects. All installations are supervised internally with regular review meetings. Customer satisfaction is reflected in the many repeat installation orders from our customers. Health and Safety is a major consideration in all projects and Intellicare ensures that all installations are carried out effectively and safely.
Intellicare provides maintenance contracts on systems installed by Intellicare and on 3rd Party equipment. There are varying levels of contracts available from an All-Inclusive rapid response to an annual service. We can also tailor a contract to a customer’s specific requirements. We will also respond to non-contract customer’s call-out’s if requested. Our engineers have training on and carry spares for a wide variety of equipment. We ensure our customers have the ability to provide the quality of care required by their clients.
Intellicare supplies and installs both hardwired and radio Nurse Call systems. We work primarily with Intercall, but also with SAS, Chubb and other major manufacturers to develop the best solution for our clients. Intellicare can offer comprehensive maintenance packages on most systems.
Intellicare can supply either a combined Nurse Call/Staff Attack solution or a stand-alone system. Our standard product is the Guardian Staff Attack system widely used within the NHS. Lone Worker and Radio solutions are also available.
Intellicare partners with Sensorium in order to provide Assistive Technology solutions. Examples are Epilepsy Alarms, Bed or Door Monitoring and numerous additional alarms. The system is tailored to the client’s requirements and messages can be sent to carers via a pager, telephone call or text.
Intellicare works with Tynetec and supplies both Advent Xt housing alarms and the Reach dispersed alarms. The Advent system is primarily for the Sheltered Housing market, while the Reach alarm is for the single house. Both systems are capable of adding a Telecare overlay to enable additional monitoring.
The most important part of any care system is ensuring that the message is delivered to the carer. Intellicare can integrate all Care Systems onto pagers. The Paging System can also be integrated with Building Management Systems and Fire Panels to give a complete information package.
Intellicare is a supplier of Icon DECT systems. These can be integrated onto a Warden Call or a Nurse Call system. The DECT telephones can also be installed as a stand-alone telephone system to give a bespoke internal telephone solution.
